a tribute to René
Magritte Belgian surrealist Painter (1898-1967)
René Magritte,
was a great surrealist painter. He made many paintings and
was known in the early 1900's. René Magritte grew up in
Belgium. He loved to make pictures that were twisted and
different. In the early 1900's many people thought that his
paintings were stupid and bad. But nowadays people love the
style and like the fact that he was different.
The Salon 2003
was organised by Curd Vercruysse (decorative painter and
salonmember from the beginning).
